    Kinry's Go Green Team

The Green Team will be heading to Norrie at the end of May to gain knowledge about the Hudson River. We will explore the physical surroundings, test an on site stream for current speed, pH, temperature, soil sampling, and use a kicknet to try and catch some invertebrates. Along with this we will do a nature walk. Students will study invasive vs. native species to gather knowledge concerning the impact nuisance/invasive species has on the estuary's ecosystem. Kinry Green Team students will also do a beach seining activity while at Norrie.

Before we head to the Hudson let's gather some knowledge about this area so we will be better prepared for the trip.

Below you will find a number of topics. You will be assigned one area to research and post your findings.
